7 lucky pupils and 2 teachers from Belvedere School attended a pizza making demonstartion at Il Forno yesterday, in conjunction with Can Cook.
The session was both informative and lots of fun. Everyone was dressed in aprons and chefs hats while they sat around the pizza counter and listened to Donato Cillo, Restaurant General Manager explain the importance of food in the Italian culture. Thomas, Il Forno's pizza chef then taught the pupils how to make pizza dough and finally their very own pizza.
The best part of the session was watching them delight as their individual pizza was taken out of the homemade stone baked pizza oven and then devoured.
