IL FORNO ADD ANOTHER AWARD TO THEIR TROPHY CABINET
Duke Street eatery Il Forno has been named Best Restaurant 2008 at Liverpool’s Business Oscars.
Managing Partner Vince Margiotta collected the prestigious award from Downtown Business in Liverpool at a glittering ceremony at Sefton Park’s Palm House. He joined 250 other guests at the Cuban themed event, which celebrated the best businesses that Liverpool currently has to offer.
Vince said: ‘It was fantastic news when we heard Il Forno had won the award and more importantly that the staff’s hard work and effort had been recognised by DLIB.”
Liverpool Vision Chairman Mike Parker made an impressive keynote speech to those assembled, who were later entertained by Sabor de Cuba and a Latino dance troupe.
